Plan Your Own Day
The Royal Palace, which is about 42.000 square meters and contains more than 600 rooms is the official residence of the Swedish King. The palace was finally finished 1754 after been rebuilt during a time of 57 years after the devastating fire 1697 that totally ruined the old palace “Tre Kronor”. The reason for the long building time was the war started by Sachsen-Poland, Denmark and Russia 1700 and ending 1721.
